Jason Breaks the News
Jason is heartbroken after losing someone very close.
Jason (Steve Burton) gives Tracy (Jane Elliot) the news she never wanted to hear — Monica (Leslie Charleson) has passed away peacefully in her room. Tracy hopes it’s some kind of mistake, but Jason assures her it’s true.
Jason makes the difficult call to the first responders while he and Tracy share a tearful moment. At least Monica’s final memory was a happy one — hugging her grandchildren Wiley and Scout on their first day of school.
Britt Wants Her Job Back
Britt makes a surprising request at GH.
While the hospital doesn’t know about Monica’s death yet, a shocking return steals attention. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) walks into Terry’s (Cassandra James) office, leaving both Terry and Portia (Brook Kerr) stunned.
Britt explains that she needs a job, money, and a place to stay. She reminds them of her experience as an obstetrician and her past role as chief of staff. Now the question is — will Terry and Portia allow her back into the GH team?
Lulu and Charlotte’s Big Choice
Charlotte must decide if she wants to see her father.
At Bobbie’s, Lulu (Alexa Havins) tells Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) that she can visit her dad in prison if she wants to. Lulu promises to be by her side the whole time. It looks like Charlotte will say yes, which means Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) could soon be back in the picture.
Gio Shocks Sonny
Meanwhile, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) turns to Sonny (Maurice Benard) for help. To Sonny’s surprise, Gio asks for $10,000, claiming it’s a reward for anyone who finds his missing dog, Outback.
But the truth is Outback isn’t lost at all. The pup is safe in the Quartermaine stables with Cody (Josh Kelly). Molly (Kristen Vaganos) finds the dog but agrees to keep Cody’s secret for now.
