Tulsa King Season 3 released Episode 9, titled “Dead Weight,” on November 16, 2025.
This episode shows big changes in Dwight’s life. His business grows fast, but a shocking kidnapping at the end puts him in danger again.
Dwight Uses Deacon’s Confession

Dwight keeps Deacon’s recorded confession, which he got in Episode 8.
He does not use it to free Bill.
Instead, he uses it for something even bigger—he gets a federal liquor license for Montague Distilleries.
Because of this license, his business becomes legal and powerful.
We don’t see Musso give him the license directly, but we see Montague growing fast in Tulsa, so it is clear Dwight got what he wanted.
But when everything seems good, a big twist arrives—Jeremiah kidnaps Joanne to use her as a bargaining tool.
Dwight’s Business Grows Fast

With the new license, Dwight’s business starts growing very quickly.
His rival, Dunmire Distilleries, begins to fall behind.
- Bars return Dunmire’s bottles because they don’t sell well.
- Dwight’s bottles are everywhere.
- His distribution expands in Tulsa.
Cole, who works for his father Jeremiah, sees that they are losing badly.
Their stock is coming back, their hitman Deacon is dead, and Dwight is now stronger than ever.
Jeremiah becomes angry, embarrassed, and desperate.
This leads him to do something dangerous—he kidnaps Joanne
Russell Arrives in Tulsa

Russell reaches Tulsa and meets Dwight.
He tells Dwight that they were old friends in prison.
But something feels strange to Dwight—Tulsa is not on Russell’s travel route.
Soon, Russell tells the truth:
Ray sent him to kill Dwight.
But Russell refuses to kill an old friend and warns Dwight instead.
Meanwhile:
- Tyson keeps doing drug deals with Spencer.
- Bodhi tries to reconnect with dangerous ecstasy suppliers.
- Russell angers Ray by refusing to follow orders.
Later, Russell goes to Dwight’s house and admits he almost killed him twice but couldn’t bring himself to do it.
Ray becomes furious and sends a New York hitman to kill Russell.
Now both men—Dwight and Russell—are Ray’s targets.
Two Hitmen… Not One
By the end of Episode 9, Dwight and Russell decide to work together.
They go to confront the hitman sent by Ray.
But when they reach the hotel, they discover a twist:
There are two hitmen, not one.
Both are dressed the same and staying in next-door rooms.
- Dwight enters one room and kills the first hitman.
- Russell kills the second one.
After the fight, Vince arrives, finds both assassins dead, and prepares to inform Ray.
This brings even more trouble for the coming episodes.
Jeremiah Kidnaps Joanne
Just when things start to settle, another big shock comes.
Jeremiah’s men kidnap Joanne.
Jeremiah plans to use her as a bargaining chip.
He wants Dwight to give up Montague Distilleries in exchange for Joanne’s safety.
Joanne is Dwight’s emotional weak spot.
But one thing is clear—Dwight never stays quiet when someone crosses him.
