Hollywood star Blake Lively says she lost more than $161 million after her name and image were damaged by a smear campaign.
According to a report by Variety, the actress’s lawyers said her career and business suffered big financial losses.
Lively’s Huge Financial Losses
Blake’s legal team shared that she lost money from many sources — her acting, producing, brand partnerships, and her two businesses.
They estimated $56.2 million lost from acting and endorsement work, $49 million from her haircare line Blake Brown, and $22 million from her drink brands Betty Buzz and Betty Booze.
Her lawyers also said her reputation was harmed by about $34 million.

Who Is She Blaming?
Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, who directed and starred with her in It Ends With Us.
She accused him of sexual harassment during filming.
Baldoni has denied all the claims.
Lively’s lawyers also say that Baldoni’s public relations team helped spread negative stories about her to hurt her reputation.
Seeking Even More in Damages
Lively’s attorneys are now asking for three times more money in punitive damages — a type of legal punishment for wrongdoing.
The lawsuit was first filed on December 31, 2024, and the financial details were shared in July 2025.
Lively’s attorney has not yet responded to Page Six’s recent request for comment.
Baldoni’s Side of the Story
In response, Justin Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit against Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and extortion.
But in June 2025, a judge threw out Baldoni’s lawsuit.

Court Updates
Recently, the court confirmed that Baldoni’s countersuit has officially ended.
Judge Lewis Liman said that Baldoni and his team decided not to change their legal complaint, which officially closed the case.
Even though the case was closed, Lively’s lawyers asked the court to keep her request for legal fees active, and the judge agreed.
What’s Next?
Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said his clients chose not to file new documents because they wanted to keep their right to appeal in the future.
He added that their team will continue to fight and “pursue the truth through every legal way possible.”
