Good news, devoted GH fans! After a slight schedule hiccup earlier in the week, Port Charles is back in action on Friday, October 3, 2025, to deliver the drama we’ve been craving. This episode promises pivotal meetings, unexpected friendships, and a terrifying confrontation that puts a beloved character’s life in immediate jeopardy.
When we last checked in with our favorite residents, several storylines were building to a dramatic climax. James (Gary James Fuller) had arrived, possibly to meet his father, Nathan. Veronica (Erika Slezak) had a heated encounter with Tracy, and the sinister Ric (Rick Hearst) had managed to escape his makeshift basement prison, leaving fans on edge about his next victim.
Is That You, Nathan?
Friday’s episode wastes no time plunging into the most emotional moment of the week: the highly anticipated meeting between James and the man believed to be his presumed-dead father, Nathan (Ryan Paevey). As James approaches the hospital bed, his apprehension is palpable. He’s meeting a man he only knows from stories, a hero whose return is miraculous yet unsettling.
However, James isn’t the only one with doubts. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), who has been fiercely protective and observant, seems increasingly suspicious. She knows the Nathan she loved, and the man lying in that bed just doesn’t sit right with her. Britt’s intuition is usually spot-on, and her reluctance for James to see the patient suggests she believes this is an imposter, or at least a dangerously altered version of Nathan. Her expression in this image speaks volumes about her concern:

The emotional weight of this reunion, combined with Britt’s looming suspicion, sets the stage for a dramatic reveal. Is this truly Nathan, or is Port Charles about to be rocked by a major secret about the patient’s true identity?
Sonny’s New Pal, Ronny
Elsewhere in the hospital, following her fiery run-in with Tracy in the Quartermaine crypt, Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak) finds herself at the hospital memorial wall. It is here that she crosses paths with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and in a surprisingly charming turn, the two connect instantly. Sonny, ever the man who knows everyone in town, is utterly fascinated to learn that his old friend Monica had a sister he never knew about.

This unexpected friendship between the mysterious Veronica and the town’s powerful kingpin promises an interesting dynamic. Will Sonny use his resources to help Ronnie with any secrets she’s carrying, or will their fast connection simply be a comforting moment amid the ongoing chaos?
Meanwhile, back at the Quartermaine crypt, Michael (Rory Gibson) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) continue their verbal sparring over Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. Tracy, ever the provocateur, insists Michael is lying, but when he challenges her to go to the police, she swiftly backs down. Instead, she pivots to discussing Michael’s legacy, suggesting he’s poised to inherit everything. Tracy’s motivations are rarely pure, and it seems her interest in Michael’s future is likely tied to her own machinations.
Anna Questions Carly, Ric Attacks Alexis
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is relentlessly pursuing the truth behind the shooting. In her quest, she makes a stop to question Carly (Laura Wright). An incredulous Carly, known for her own secrets and protectiveness, tells the super-spy to broaden her scope and start questioning suspects who aren’t so obvious. Carly’s defensiveness and reluctance to cooperate add another layer of intrigue to the investigation.
Finally, the episode culminates in a horrifying scene at Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) house. Alexis is preparing to read the will the next day, but a quiet nap on the couch is violently interrupted. She wakes to find the escaped menace, Ric (Rick Hearst), standing over her, holding a dagger to her neck!

Ric is clearly ready to kill, and Alexis’s life hangs by a thread. Thankfully, Ava Jerome (Maura West), who has recently become a fixture in Alexis’s home, arrives with impeccable timing. Is Ava about to save Alexis, possibly by knocking Ric out and putting him back in the basement where he belongs? Or will Ric’s desperate escape claim a shocking victim?
